Ohio National Guard Helps Tackle Covid-19 in 2020

In the beginning of 2020 the world came to a stop due to Covid-19. The Ohio National Guard stepped in to lend a hand and keep Ohioans safe. Some members went to help at warehouses that supplied medical PPE like gowns, gloves, and masks as well as Covid-19 testing kits.

Others went to warehouses for food banks to put together the food packages that were given to the community. Everyone who helped got a sense of community by working with those they have not worked with before, and knowing that their efforts were going to the 88 counties of Ohio and keeping people safe and healthy.

The images below give insight into what went on and how the guard members who were activated felt about helping the community.
