How local businesses are adapting to COVID-19

Court Street of Athens — normally a bustle of boisterous college students bar-hopping, guitar players busking on the sidewalks and townies getting their caffeine fix — is eerily empty.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, small businesses are grappling with the difficulties of remaining open, paying rent, laying off businesses or closing indefinitely.
